The tricky part comes when you have to choose the correct and appropriate training pants that suit him and those that are comfortable for them. Accidents can never be gotten rid off easily during this transition. These accidents will certainly occur and the best thing you can do is to ensure you make the necessary preparations for them. It is very possible to avoid all this mess and it all depends on the training pants you choose for your son to use.

There are different types of training pants for boys; we have the regular cotton training undies, disposable training pants, reusable training pants, the water proof and the non water proof pants. If your core concern wants your son to learn fast while at the same time saving some coins then you may consider using the regular undies.
 Listed below are some of the training pants and undies for boys that you may consider choosing from.

Disposable Training Pants
The disposable training pants for boys come in different colours and designs that every toddler boy wishes for. They can be pulled up and down like the real boys underwear. Fitted with elastic bands, they are a one size fits all and are readily available in stores. They are still comfortable even after wetness, since they are similar to diapers the young boys will not feel the discomfort of being wet. Disposable training pants are in fact the best for preventing messy accidents during the

The disposable training pants are to a great extent absorbent and make lives of the mothers and caregivers a whole lot easier. They are easy to use and easy, easy to pull up and down when the boys want to use the potty.  The only negative aspect of the disposable training pants is that some toddlers are sensitive to the harsh materials used to make them. They are also not budget friendly but highly recommended for the initial stages of potty training.

Cotton Training Pants
The cotton training pants are comfortable and absorbent. They are also very trim and comfortable. Made from several layers of cotton and lined with terry cloth linen ensures that there is air circulation next to the baby’s soft skin and hence preventing diaper and pant rash. The cotton training pants are fitted with a protective outer layer that prevents any leaks that might result in staining their outfit.

The cotton training pants are also recommended since they encourage the children to learn how to use the bathroom a lot faster. Why? Because of their thickness and absorbent likeness, they child will often feel e wetness as soon as they have the accidents and this will encourage them to use the potty rather having to go on the cloth training pants.

Reusable Training Pants
Compared to the disposable training pants, they are more affordable and convenient to use. The reusable training pants resemble the ordinary underwear but with slightly thicker cotton material. They are washable and hence save you money. The reusable training pants are good for absorbing small accidents. There are two types of reusable training pants;

Waterproof training pants.
They contain a waterproof outer layer, and an inner layer that has the capability to hold an ample amount of water for a long period of time

Non-waterproof training pants
The non-water proof training pants are similar to regular undies. However, they contain an additional thick middle part for water absorption. Contrasting the waterproof training pants, they do not have a water-resistant outer layer and they can only hold a smaller amount of water.

Regular Training Pants
Using regular undies may also be an astute alternative, no matter how problematic it may seem. It is a given fact that regular undies do not have the capacity to hold water; therefore you would have a messy training if you prefer to use them.

However, using regular undies can give a precious advantage to you and your child. For your child, he will become aware of accidents easier if he uses regular underwear; and will in turn learn about the proper area to pee and poop.

The potty training transition happens faster if your son wears regular underwear. On your end, you will learn to be a more responsible and tolerant parent, bearing in mind the extra tough cleaning activity that you have to do.

Choosing the correct and appropriate training pant for your son depends on a few things: your individual preference, and the level of maturity on both parties. If you think that you and you son are capable of doing the training with the use of regular undies, then go for it. However, it is wise to keep in mind that you have other options too. Potty training is not supposed to be traumatic; hence you better do everything you can to make it pleasurable. But of course, you have the freedom to decide.
